I have several DCS935L at home. Working without any problems. Just added IP and credentials and it is working like a charm. Well done! Viewer v. 5.02 OS X 10.11.3

I purchased the D-Link DCS-932L camera. The app for my iPhone and iPad works fine. Cant get this one to work for my Mac. And there is NO help menu or pages. In the dark.

Worked without issue for the 942L.

No real help from DLink folks either

To begin, I have 6 cameras on line. They were easily set up on an iPad, and using the Windows based application from D-Link. So I PURCHASED this application for my iMac. Note that all other platform applications were free. The first challenge is that, unlike the software on all the other platforms, this one wants IP’s. Well, not easily defeated, I managed to GET the IP’s by communicating directly with my router, and printing out an assigned IP list. So I filled everything out, and after all that, you just get a little window with a plain grey screen, with “Start Connecting To Camera” displayed. Again, though, I was still unwilling to throw in the towel. So I tried the help pages - there seem to be several references. EVERY REFERENCE TO A HELP PAGE gets the rather terse “Error 404, page not found” message. I am VERY disappointed - there is no way of contacting help, no clues what so ever, no instructions, no manual, nothing. It is perhaps some little fellow in a basement, quietly collecting money from unsuspecting suckers, alas, like me. Don’t waste your money, and APPLE, if you happen to notice this, please remove this digraceful phishing scam from your “Apps”.

There should be a way to downgrade to a previous version, or at least contact the developer since this is a paid app. Got it working fine with the version before the 4.0 release. It updated and now it’s useless and doesn’t work at all. Even the website says it’s under construction for support.

I paid for this app so that I could record to my Mac like I did with the free PC version, but it looks like that isn’t an option with this one. Waiting to hear from support.

This is useless. Will not work, no support. Company will not respond to e-mails. Stay far away from this app. Apple should not allow such a poor quality app on their App store.

Downloaded OK and gobbled up my payment but will not recognize my cam.

There is no option for DCS 942L model , it is junk waste of money!!!

And no options to enable sound! Its so strange when you get such a bad experience paying for the app which should come for free with $80 camera!

Please fix the app, the window does not stay the same size after I log out and log back in. Also, there should be an option to access videos from SD card.

I checked, and double checked to ensure my camera was listed in the supported section, it is. I have the DCS-5222LB. I tried and tried to connect to my camera - as it is listed in the apps list of cameras. When asked for the Username and Password - I knew I endtered a password but no username. I tried and tied to figure out what the username could be. FINALLY after several attempts I tried just typing in “admin” and the password I had assigned and boom- It started connecting and working. Could have saved myself 2 hours of trying to connect if the instructions would have been more detailed. I do not know if there is a way to change the username but if you’re having a problem connecting just try typing in admin as your username and the password you set. It may then let you connect to your cameras.

The viewer offered for the Iphone or iPad is a 1000% better! This version has no VOLUME. User interface is really silly and VERY limited. currently using with a D-Link DCS-932 L

Waste of $$$. The program does not work. I plan to return the D-Link to Best Buy; wish I could get a refund on this POC software.

I thought apple was supposed to scrutinize these products

operating on model 3411 & 2103 with a slight delay in resolution about 3 sec but NO VOLUME AT ALL even on safari ?!!!!! still havent tried it on 5605 & 930

My camera (DCS-2103) is included in the list of supported cameras. The DCS-2103 has electronic pan, tilt, and zoom. But Camera Viewer 2 does not support this. I feel as if I have been short-changed!

This does NOT work!!! I have repeated put in the proper IP#, name and password to three cameras with Zero result. Be careful, this is not a reliable App

Tried to set up MyDlink DCS 942L after downloading the app. Did not even list my camera in the choices (MyDlink DCS 942L)
